High Frequency Words for First Grade

This video is designed so that students and parents can practice together!

Are your students able to read the high-frequency words in isolation, but stumble on them when they occur in a text passage? The first list of 100 words represents 50% of all the words children encounter in elementary school reading.  Repeated reading of these phrases, a few per week, gives students practice reading high-frequency words, thus building their fluency and general proficiency.

For more information about this production, please send an email to Steve Ventura, Superintendent of the Edison School District.
