Message from the Superintendent - Stephen Ventura
On behalf of the students, staff, and board of education, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Edison School District.
Our primary goal is to give priority to teaching literacy and mathematical competency, at the earliest time, and to the very highest degree possible.
Like any organization wishing to increase productivity, the Edison School District has a mission.....to improve academic achievement.
We want to provide a rigorous learning experience for every student every day with classroom instruction that is of the highest quality; a professionally developed staff; a coordinated, aligned and articulated K-8 curriculum; and an opportunity for parents to be active participants in the education of their children.
This website is your doorway to numerous resources ranging from K-8 content standards for all areas of instruction to successful teaching principles, technology planning, and assessment information.
A big part of our commitment to increased achievement is to continuously provide feedback based on our progress in meeting both the state and federal accountability requirements. This information can be located in the Data Center, as it contains current test score results and Program Improvement status.
