Power Standards is a step-by-step process that Edison School District educators used to distinguish the Priority Standards--standards that are absolutely necessary for student success--from those that are nice to know. Teachers created a prioritized subset of their own state standards, and learned how to use these Power Standards to guide the development of meaningful curriculum and assessment.
Our Power Standards will be the focus of our common formative assessments and represent the most essential learning for Edison School District students. All downloads are in .pdf format.
